Jazz Portrait - Sarah Fenwick

I drew this self-portait in charcoal on paper based on a photograph by Jane Fenwick during one of my Jazz concerts on the island of Cyprus. 

The blissful emotion is in the moment while I'm listening to the band playing before I take a breath and sing.

The areas of light and dark have soft edges in soft charcoal greys.
