Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay

Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay combines music with painting and expresses taking a moment to reflect on life.

It's a meditative piece in acrylics on canvas board.

I used a diluted indigo blue to create the sense of dusk falling and holding the viewer.

The painting is intuitive and was done quickly with a flat brush to form the shapes which are nearly fused with the background.
